Researching the emmett family from George born about 1799 in pangbourne, berkshire, married Hannah Stockbridge see 1841 census pangbourne, any family still in pangbourne or where did George come from, his parents, and any siblings,

You may well have got his children, but if not there is quite a lot of information on Family Search. The surname is quite often spelt differently, so you will need to allow for this.

Thanks, yes I have noted the children and gone forward to my grandmother nellie in Portsmouth born 1893, but with the 1841 census George born about 1798 how can I get to his parents and any siblings, u think Charles born 1805 about could be a brother, but his birth place states oxfordshire but have had no success there, problem with information found some places back then are actually in Berkshire/  reading/   goring, and south stoke,

1841 George is born c 1801, 1851 c 1796 Pangbourne.
1861 c 1798, 1871 c 1797

I agree with you from IGI batch that a WILLIAM/ELIZABETH Emm... (various spellings) were Christening Children in Pangbourne 1797-1809 including a Charles 1805.
But I cant see a George.

William EMMOT/Elizabeth KEELING married 25 November 1796, Pangbourn, Berkshire.

F/S has a 16 Dec 1846 Burial of a William EMMETT in Pangbourn

GRO index has him as age 78

Possible Father for George?

Large gap in Childrens ages.

F/S has a Burial;
William Emmett, 18 July 1834 Pangbourn, no age given.
Maybe another Child of George/Hannah

Hi it's interesting that 2 of George s children ( possibly )James and Charles are living iN 1851 with their uncle Charles ( Georges brother ) if i've read the census correctly because the two boys shown as nephews, and uncle Charles ?? Are split on family search, I don't have access to ancestry or findmypast

Hi, also trying to find the parents of Sarah Gregory ?? Who possible married a Charles Emmett in Bradford between 1861 and 1871 but died young leaving Charles to raise their 3 children,
  Can't find George after the census he's with his 2 brothers then disappears ??

I agree that Charles/James in 1851 are Nephews of Charles;

Marriage was 1857 and Sarah is alive in 1861 Census.

1871 Charles has his 2 youngest Sons with him.
1881 Charles is in Middlesex age 51, Gardener, Widower.
1891 he is in the Staines Union Workhouse in Stanwell, Middlesex.

George G Emmett c 1854 was born before the Marriage in 1857 so is likely reg as surname GREGORY
