Bangor and Caernarvon repertory companies

Does anyone know if these two repertory companies still exist??

Have you got any more formal names of companies or dates/periods/venues for what you're looking for?

County Theatre, Bangor - repertory company 1940's/1950's.
Guild Hall, Caernarvon -  Caernarvon Repertory company. 1940's/1950's.
I was given a box of old theatre programmes, some from North Wales, by a relative shortly before he died.   I am trying to find 'good' homes for them; thought possibly the two rep co's  might want them for their archives??
I don't want to have to throw them away

Hello Glenys,
             Firstly, please don't throw the programmes away; I'm sure they would be of considerable value to the Gwynedd County Archives and would be a valuable source for anyone researching theatre history in the area. I remember seeing cinema films at the County Theatre before television reduced the audiences and even wrestling shows failed to make it sustainable. It is a nightclub now, I think. Of the Guildhall in Caernarfon I know nothing. If you decide to follow my suggestion I would be happy to recompense you for any carriage costs to myself or the Archives. I contacted Gwynedd Archives re these programmes and they were happy to have them; they should by now be in their possession!!
