The parish registers for Llanystymdwy will be at Caernarfonshire Record Office?

Ancestry has parish records from London, Dorset, Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire and others.

But virtually none from Wales?

Just remember that Ancestry isn't the answer to everything! ;D

Hi
Llanystumdwy does not appear to be included.
Family tree is in Achau ...... by T.Ceiri Griffith [56] and [57], but only goes back as far as the info you already have. It is linked to [65] where it shows marriage of Margaret Mary Roberts, Tyddyn Ysguboriau to John Ellis, Glanllyn, Morfa Bychan, uncle of my grandmother. They lived in Morfa after marriage, but later moved to Tyddyn Ysguboriau, and that's how Tyddyn Ysguboriau family became Ellis'.

Find my past is very hit and miss when it comes to Wales.
There are quite a few llanystymdwy PR in Caernarfon.  The earlier ones are very hard to read - I also gave family going back to the 1780's in the parish . But I have a little niggle in the back of my mind about Bishops Transcripts ! If you are planning a special trip I would ring the archive first .
