PR look ups - Ilfield and Worth

Is anyone able to check [or double check] some entries in the parish registers of these two parishes? I am looking to check some details relating to the names Batcheller/Batchellor, Longley/Langley, and Baldwin/Baldwyn.

If anyone can help please let me know and I'll send more details.

Yes sorry about that. I'm looking mainly for christenings and possibly a couple of burials. I've found a couple of entries online on Ancestry and Familysearch for some of the people I'm looking at, but both of these give two sets of dates for the same people, usually differing by a few days. I will post the details tomorrow.

Many thanks for that. I currently don't have access to the website as I'm not a member of the SFHG at the moment. I am trying to find the baptisms for the following people:

Angell All c1570-1580 (she married John Bacheller in 1598/99)

Susan or Susanna Longley (or Langley) c1560-1570 (she married Sydrach Baldwin in 1586).

James Baldwin c1540

I am also trying to find the marriage of James Baldwin and Alice pre1540

The above are all in Ifield. I would also be interested to know of any Baldwin burials in the parish between 1560-1670.

I'll post details of the other people I'm looking for tomorrow.

Thanks for these, they all look very useful. I'm slightly interested by the name Angel, where does that come from? Do you think all those children you listed were siblings? If so is there any record of a marriage for their father or any burials?

The marriage of James Baldwine and Agnes Langley in 1583 does intrigue me. I had already found a reference to this on Ancestry and according to the record James was a widower and Agnes a widow. Sydrack[e]/Sidrack[e] Baldwin and Susan Longley/Langley were married three years later in 1586 and I wonder if Susan was a sister of Agnes' first husband. I will have to check my tree. By the 1630s the Baldwins were in Worth and I have Susan's burial plus the christening dates for some of her children. I'll post the bits I don't have tomorrow.
