I got a response from a relative, and here is what she had:
My great grandfather ZVI BAYER was married twice.
From the first marriage  came three children all born in Lithuania
1- Lipman (Lippa)
2- Simon Benjamin (Ben)
3- Samuel John  (Sam)

From the second marriage  came four children all born in Lithuania.
4-Morris
5- Eva
6 -Israel (Izzy)
7- Etta

According to the record which was found from Grinkiskis from ALD, I see the following:

Grinkiskis Kaunas Kaunas
BAUER    Girsh Orel    Fayvush    Head of Household     30 in 1866 38               1874
BAUER    Itsko Bentsel    Girsh Orel    Son      10               1874    495  3    Family list
BAUER    Lipe    Girsh Orel    Son      5               1874    495  3    Family list KRA/I-
BAUER    Shmuel Iovno    Girsh Orel    Son      3               1874    495  3    Family list KRA/I-
BAUER    Beyla        Wife      30               1874    495  3    Family list KRA/I-
BAUER    Mere Ete    Girsh Orel    Daughter      15               1874    495  3    Family list KRA/I-
BAUER    Pese Beyle    Girsh Orel    Daughter      12               1874    495  3    Family list KRA/I-

It seems Zvi would be Girsh Orel and one of his wives would be Beyla.
Also Samuel would be Shmuel.
Could Simon Benjamin (Ben) be Itsko Bentsel?

Do the other names somehow reconcile between the ALD record and the observation from the relative or do I need a different ALD record?

I would surmise that all five of the children listed in that Revision List of 1874 were Beyla's.

Mere-Ete, b. c1859, may have been Etta (no. 7). Or, Etta may have been named after Mere-Ete.

Children 4, 5 and 6 were clearly born after 1874. I found the birth of Mikhel-Movsha on 20 Aug 1876 in Smiltinka (recorded in Grinkiskis). His mother was Beile. Movsha is the Russian form of Mosheh, which is commonly Anglicised as Morris.

Hirsh is the Yiddish word for a stag; it evolved from the Middle High German forms hiers/hirres. It was later translated back into Hebrew as Tsvi. Hirsch became the standard High German form from about 1650 onwards.
