Marriage lookup BRAHAM
« on: Saturday 17 December 16 12:27 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the marriage of WILLIAM BRAHAM and SUSANNAH? c1765 - 1775, possibly Grundisburgh or Ashboking

Daughters Susannah (1765) & Lydia (1770) were baptised at Grundisburgh
William died at Asboking 1770
Susannah remarried Robert Skeet as a widow in Grundisburgh in 1771

Thank you.

Hi
There is a William Bream marriage 1753 to Susan Sier at Grundisburgh on the Suffolk marriage index
Could that be them?
An online tree has him born 1721 at Ashbocking  son of William and Lydia and sister Lydia born 1727 which would fit better with ages.

Ciderdrinker, I think you may have cracked it!
I'd be interested to know which online tree you located
I already had William born at Ashboking in 1721 and the names certainly tie in.
Gallingly, several local clergymen put the wife's maiden name in the registers, but not in this case.

Thank you very much indeed for this most useful lead

Just to say I've found the tree you refer to on ancestry - thanks.  The problem now is to verify this!
Thanks again for your help.  J
