Help with finding Nicholson parents 1880s

Have you found Harry and Eva on the 1939 Register to ensure you have the correct birth for Harry?

It would be more advisable to purchase Harry's marriage cert than his birth cert unless you are completely sure you have the correct birth for Harry. He could have been born Henry.

In the 1911 census, Harry is a bricklayer and his wife is Eva Thompson.
They married in Middlesbrough, 1909.

but there is one with mmn CHISEM  and there is one for a
George Nicholson 1872 Durham mmn CHIS...  and
Fred Nicholson 1874 Durham mmn CHISMAN   and
Richard William Nicholson 1878  Hunslet mmn CHISEM

perhaps Ann was married previously

JJ - snap had just added some info. to my previous post  re: Henry Nicholson son of Richard & Ann
looks as if they married in 1872 but her surname is GARR and I wondered if she may have been previously married
