Thank you again Jebber, I will have to remember where to look for the abbreviations.

Thank you for the link Handypandy, I will keep that death in mind, as yet I don't know when he was born but from the naval records he was made a Lieutenant in 1948 and seemed to be promoted pretty quickly after that.  The birth on the link would indicate 1898 which I feel might be a little early.
I have found a couple of late deaths for Maurice Frederick King, one also in 2012 but probate was done in the Ipswich office and again no actual death records online yet for the later deaths.
