Help with date/identifying people - England, Ward/Martin/Evans?
« on: Thursday 22 December 16 19:03 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

My grandmother has this wedding photo, but we don't know exactly when it was taken or where, or even who the people in it are!! The mark on the back reads:

'CHEAL, SON AND CO.
Photographers
Frame makers & Gilders
361 Hither Green Lane
LEWISHAM, S.E'

So if anyone recognises anyone, or the approximate date that would be great!! Or even if colour could be added that would be amazing...  :)

Thank you,
Martha

Society wedding C. 1908-12.
Curious that the left side is almost exclusively women. Possibly the bride is a member of a women's organisation.

I think, think the bride might be middle front and wearing a veil rather than a hat, and it looks like her groom beside her.

What a brilliant collection of people!    ;)
