Elisabeth Phyllis Haynes. Kiganjo Keyna
« on: Friday 23 December 16 23:39 GMT (UK) »
Not sure if this is the right forum link!! But I'm trying to locate details relating to Elisabeth Phyllis Haynes, born 1903. She was married to Capt Henry John Haynes RN, born 1893. They are both found on passenger records around 1960 and it seems according to the National Archives they had a farm/land in Kiganjo Keyna.. Henry died in Nairobi 1973 and  Elisabeth in England 1992. What I cannot find is a marriage record to locate Elisabeths maiden name ? I have found a passenger record for Henry for 1953 and he was shown as single so I'm wondering if they married in Keyna. Any help appreciated.

I hope you have luck in your search. The country is Kenya which is some distance from South Africa. Family search do have records for some of the African countries, unfortunately Kenya is not one of them.
