Where did Johnathan die?
« on: Sunday 25 December 16 08:08 GMT (UK) »
Johnathan Tebay born abt 1855 Macclesfield Cheshire England travelled to Canada with his son Ellis b 1887 on the Empress of Ireland headed for St John New Brunswick on 8th Feb 1907.

Dad Johnathan died on 3rd October 1907 aged 52 (part of the death cert attached),but we cannot read where this happened. He died of Bronco Pneumonia which was certified by an A J Harrington.

Son Ellis returned to the UK and married in 1910.Haven't found which ship or when this happened though.

Many thanks to anyone who can help with this.

Ultimate destination according to this was Toronto:

If correct (below), then there was a Dr. A J Harrington in Toronto at the time:

First letter is stumping me, could it be something like Birch / Beech / Branch Av?

Edited to add: Does the death certificate not indicate some approximate region / area to contextualise the search?

There is a second record that has residence as Perta Ave. Putting the 2 together would perhaps give Perth Ave.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

Agree with PB  :) Perth Ave., Toronto

The copy from FS is a tiny bit clearer,

and from the second record

Cheers,

Thank you so much everyone.

Johnathan Tebay is the great grandad of my mum's cousin.

I will refer him to this thread.

Happy Christmas to you all.
