There ages seem to vary quite a bit between censuses but theire places of birth and occupations are the same 61- 71.

I'll see if I can follow them up further  later this evening  :)

hello!

yes i've also noticed that too! there ages are only a few years different but then in other areas, there ages seem to come up as the same! its weird! the last census i could find is the same one you've seen, in 1871 :( after that i can't find anymore! i've pretty much find the same information as you! i know on williams grave stone it has the date he died and a quote, it doesn't say his DOB or anything more to do with his family! so that itself makes it abit difficult to find any more information haha.

thank you for looking :)

Hi again

Wondering about this one for Thomas in 1881

RG11/5578/60/9
High Street, Llanllechid

John Ebenezer Jones, 25, Butcher
.....
Thomas Roberts, servant, 34, butcher, b. Conway

I don't see a definite match for this one before the 1881. It could be that he was quite young when
the family moved to Mount Pleasant and, although his parents knew he was b. Bangor, he or his employer,  thought he was born Conway.

Not sure but it is worth keeping this one just in case.

Hi Lauren

It might be that you've not set up your profile to receive all replies to your topic.

Hope you get this one as I think I might have found Thomas. I don't think he married. Certainly the details are very similar to the one I found in 1881:

Death  Thomas Roberts, aged 76, 2nd Q, 1921,Conway, vol 11b page 580.
The burial details seem to fit with other entries

This 1901 one also fits with Thomas being a butcher - age slightly out ~

RG13/5286/51/2
Conway Union Workhouse
Thomas Roberts, pauper, single, 52 (?), Butcher (journeyman), b. Conway

How sad.
