Thanks for the link, ev  :)

It reminded me that  I downloaded all the original censuses from SP a few years ago, intending to follow the families through to 1911. Then we moved so the censuses are still filed away. I'll get them out as a NY project  :)

A couple of friends went there and took some fantastic photos. They didn't go the usual way but went over in a very very small fishing boat from Ullapool.
