The Commonwealth War Graves Committee are Looking for relatives

of Oliver Alan Rosier of the Royal Berkshire Regiment buried at Leckhampstead St James, and who can provide documentation to UKNA technical team.
I know there are a good few people of that name in the area so maybe they'll be in luck.
Barefoot, Barley, Bedborough, Benett, Blandy, Brown, Clements, Doucett, Fisher, Franklin, Goodchild, Greenwood, Heath, Horwood, Osmond, Westbury: Berks/Berks and Wilts.

Woodhouse: Montgomeryshire

Booth, Braddock, Drabble, Hatton, Henshaw, Whitehead: Tameside and Cheshire

cwgc website shows middle name as Allen - died 1917 aged 38 but his birth reg has Alan

Son of George and Avis Rosier of Leckhampstead, Berks and husband of Edith Ellen Rosier of Peasemore, Berks.

He married Edith E Mason in 1915 but no children born to the marriage

A brother Louis Edmund P Rosier and Ethel M Beckett who married in 1923 Newbury Berkshire had 5 children registered between September 1923 and December 1928. Obviously need checked out so cannot name yet.

Louis Edmund Plenty Rosier passed away aged 67 years - Newbury - March 1954 - administration was to his wife Ethel. 29 April 1954.

Sadly the first son of Louis and Ethel - Edmund Douglas Rosier born 1923 seems to have been a casualty of WW2  :'(

The last born child James Bernard Rosier 20 September 1928 passed away 29 October 1993 - aged 65 years - Kingsclere and Whitchurch Hampshire. probate Bristol 3 March 1994

Married Dorothy M M Clarke - May 1952 - Newbury 6a 127

There was a death registered for a Dorothy May M Rosier - born 13 march 1930 passed away June 1982 Basingstoke Hampshire.

Hugh Rosier passed away Q1 of 1908 - Newbury - aged 31 years - did not see a marriage registration for him. Still single and with parents in 1901

Stella married Joseph C McGurk in June 1944 at Newbury.
