Wolverhampton Catholic Parish Records Question
« on: Tuesday 03 January 17 12:32 GMT (UK) »
I am currently trying to establish whether an Irish immigrant family retained their RC faith after living in England for 20 years. Does anyone have access to the Catholic registers to check for me? The Surname is Mullaney (but expect the spelling to vary wildly) mothers maiden name Duffy (or Duffey). The children would be:
Sarah 1867
William 1870
Charles 1871
Margaret 1873
John Thomas 1877

If you cannot help does anyone know where these particular parish records are held?
Woollen and the variations thereof (Woolin, Woollin, Woolen etc) in the West Riding area

Traditionally Catholic records are still held by the church or if they have been deposited, it will be with the local diocesan office.

The LDS catalogue has this

https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/762330?availability=Family%20History%20Library

you could search www.familysearch.org to see if any have been transcribed but if not, then register as a user and view the images shown where there is a camera icon on the catalogue page

Oh, thank you so much for those. My FindMyPast sub is only a monthly one when funds allow and is currently lapsed. Much appreciated.
