Looking for marriage of Thomas Ryde / Ride about 1663/4

Just checked marriage of Samuel Child and Elizabeth Ryde - it was on 22 May 1784 - a Clandestine / Fleet marriage. The record says they were both of Ewhurst and Samuel was a butcher. He was born in Ewhurst, but moved to Dunsfold. Elizabeth would only be 15 when they married if she was the one born 1789, so maybe why they had a Fleet marriage and she lied about her age.

Just read William's will - it was written in 1703, so before Elizabeth married (if she was his daughter which now looks very likely) which is why she is referred to as Elizabeth Ryde.

Just found a will of a Mary Child of Ewhurst (dated 28 Aug 1746), she is the widow of Samuel and has sons, Samuel, Thomas, William and daughters Sarah and Mercy, all except Samuel are under 21 when she made the will. One of the bequests is a butcher's shop. Her brother in law Thomas Child of Dunsfold (butcher ) is executor. I think she is the Mary Child buried in Ewhurst on 6 November 1746
