I'm not sure if this is the right place to post - Can anyone help with finding some travel records for George Benjamin Marden b1862 Middlesex? I believe I have him going to New South Wales in 1882 but he definitely came back! I have been told he travelled a lot (probably until soon before his death in 1908) can anyone spot anything?

A George S Marden born 1862, a foreman, arrived from New York to Southampton on the 18th December 1901, aged 39, so born c1862. The transcript says his middle initial is S but the original looks more like a B.

Yes indeed that's all correct I know about the family I'm just looking into his travelling. I do not believe they travelled with him with exception possibly of his wife? Im pretty sure the 1882 record I mentioned is him as I think it mentions (cannot read column heading) Marshall and Susan who were his parents. Any opinions on this? But can anyone see him coming back into the country? He married in London in 1885.
I wondered about the 1901 record Coombs. I am led to believe he earned a living working in some exotic locations.

As you did not give the information I posted the marriage and census information so that anyone looking for you could see that he did marry and have children but there were no children being born out of the country.  :)

The middle initial does not look like the B for surname Ballard a few lines up.  It does however look like the S in the surname  Styllingsted 17 names from the top

Where are you viewing the 1882 record
