Benjamin Griffiths-Birth 1849

Benjamin Griffiths is showing in the 1851 Census at Cefn Mawr Wrexham Denbighshire as I year old and as the son of a William and a "May" Griffiths.His Birth is recorded in the Oct/Nov/Dec Quarter 1849 in the Wrexham District of Denbighshire,Volume 27,Page 236.I'm curious as to the Mother's maiden name to try and find a Marriage for his parents.

On GRO birth index mother's maiden name listed as Hughes.   It's free to search  ;D

Thanks Kay,the marriage earlier in 1849 at Ruabon St Mary's between a William Griffiths and a Mary Hughes looks very promising.
