Agatha Olley, Skeyton

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to find records for my ancestor Agatha Olley.

She was born in 1870 in Skeyton to James William Olley & Frances Whitwood. In 1871 she is living with her parents in Skeyton, then again in 1881 but the family have moved to Banningham.

After that she dissappears.

I don't know if I've been looking to hard and missed something obvious  It would be great to see if a fresh pair of eyes can spot something

Don't think she wants to be found.  No marriage/death/subsequent census entry that I can find

I've checked the 1891 for the Channel Islands and IOM plus Wales and Scotland - zilch!!

No marriage on Scotlands People

If she went to the IOM or CI pre-1891 she may have married there but it's a tenuous possibility

The 1891 entry for her parents shows a son James William Olley aged 3.  As mum Frances was 56 in 1891 - not her child.  GRO maiden name search suggests mmn was Olley so James was illegit.

James W is with his uncle Arthur Olley in 1901 and later census

Again - tenuous as Agatha had several older sisters who could be his mother

Thank you for having a look too, I'm guessing she must of changed her name.

Thank you for pointing out about James William Olley, he must definitely be a grandchild of theirs, as their first born was also James William Olley, born 1854 and died in 1891. I looked through the Banningham baptisms and couldn't find his baptism, I'm now considering ordering his birth certificate.

Edit - Sorry just read your comment regarding Arthur being his uncle, I think I do need to buy his birth certificate now.
