Prison Records - Thomas Henry Wycherley
« on: Friday 06 January 17 22:47 GMT (UK) »
Hi there, I am looking for prison records pertaining to my bigamist Great Grandfather, Thomas Henry Wycherley, b. 1873 in Bilston, Staffordshire. Attached is the record I can find of his conviction from 1922, his second conviction for bigamy.

This is the last record I have of him existing, anything anyone can dig up would help immensely. We are trying to find out what happened to him after this conviction (where he was imprisoned, did he make it through imprisonment, when did he die?) etc... It would be nice to know what came of him.

Thanks a million  :)

On find my past.
In 1918 he is using the name Thomas Cornfield/Thomas Wycherley listed under prisons and punishment, location Stafford England.
I don't have a sub at the moment so can't look it up.

Unless he died in custody his death will be hard to find as he has so many aliases.

Lichfield Mercury 21 June 1918 (Under the name of Cornfield) - he had broken into a country (described as counting house in another write up)  house. Described as a mean & cunning thief - he got 9 months prison sentence
