It is similar Max, but there are a couple of differences, which may be as a result of the over sketching and some loss of detail.

Some observations:
There are no pockets (unless they are just out of frame)
The button spacing is different
The top button does not overlap

I realise you did not say it is definitely Doughboys and I agree that it has a similar look.  ;)

Could be Irish Free State, early days 1920's, or if earlier Loyalist Volunteers. Not nearly enough to go on though.
Griffiths Llandogo, Mitcheltroy, Mon. and Whitchurch Here (Also Edwards),  18th C., Griffiths FoD 19th Century.

Many thanks to all you kind people for your input to what is a poor picture, it's was a difficult ask I know, will have to try a dig some more!.
Ruskie, no there is no one else in the picture, that's the full picture minus the face.
Regorian, Irish Free State is a good possibility ...
