WW1 Royal Air Force records

is there anywhere (preferably online) where I can find out more about 401104 Chas. J. Playle. 

I found an MIC on Ancestry starting that he served with the HAC then RAF.  I couldn't find any other information.  He probably came from Essex (I'm researching those on the Rochford war memorial and think this Chas is a match). Many thanks

There are some records (HAC and RAF) for him on FindMyPast
