Crosse family of Woodplumpton

Hi everyone,

I have a William Crosse who had two children that I know of, both born in Woodplumpton:

Lawrence b. 1607
Thomas b. 1610

I have estimated his birth around 1580-5. However, I can't seem to find anything. Many of the Crosse's hail from Goosnargh and Kirkham at around this time, so he may have been born there.

Numerous family trees have the Crosse's on them, but somewhere there has been a mistake regarding the sources, and all of them have gone wrong. if anyone wants me to elaborate, I will.

I appreciate any help.

You probably won't be able to find records that early for Woodplumpton - most appear to start early 1600's

Thank you for your reply - I was afraid of that. I have also emailed the warden of the Church of St Anne's at Woodplumpton to confirm it.
