SHAWS AND GRANTS OF TOMINTOUL
« on: Tuesday 10 January 17 21:55 GMT (UK) »
To save me struggling on my own here - I just wondered if anyone else was doing the Shaw's and Grants of Tomintoul - to see if in anyway we could be helping each other - my line relates from a William Shaw born possible 1770 and an Ephy Grant born about the same time - home address for William was Delachule as it is spelt now - Ephy Grant was from just up the road at Findon - trying to find where they both originated prior to landing in Tomintoul - I have no idea - cheers

For the avoidance of duplication of effort, there are existing threads about this family

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
