Ireland Catholic Baptism Record - which couple are the parents

Having a bit of trouble understanding who are the parents and who are the sponsors on this baptism entry for Eugene on 7 March 1856 Parish of Ematris, County Monaghan.  It reads: Eugenis & Maria Duffy par Michael McGiven & Anna Clerry spon Eugene bap J.K.

Hoping someone can help,

I would read this as Eugene and Mary Duffy as the parents, Michael McGiven and Ann Clerry(?) as the sponsors, Eugene as the child baptised, and J.K. as the priest's initials.
