BARR Port Glasgow
« on: Wednesday 11 January 17 02:56 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have just found out that Helen Barr (nee Thompson) died in 1855 in Port Glasgow and was buried in a cemetery there. Unfortunately I cannot read the name of the cemetery.

Her husband Robert Barr had predeceased her (very probably also in Port Glasgow) as had several of her children, Janet, James, Helen, Mary, James, Marion and George (dates unknown). Her son George Renwick Barr also died in Port Glasgow in 1898.

I was wondering whether anyone had access to cemetery records or knew where to locate them so that I can find death details for the rest of Helen's Family. I am too far away to access these myself

thanks

Hi Carawa,

If you can upload a section of the cert. this may help someone to decipher the name of the cemetery.

Hi

I hope I have attached a snippet of the death certificate that shows the burial place and that maybe somebody can read the name of the cemetery.

Many Thanks

Carawa   ;)

Hi Rosinish

Could be, I will have to see if I can find a cemetery called that. Not making much progress on this line .

Thanks

Carawa
