John Roberts Llandyrnog . a family puzzle.
« on: Wednesday 11 January 17 11:06 GMT (UK) »
Presumably John died between Jan 1807 and  July 1808.
I have no idea how old he was or who his wife was.
From his will.
Roberts, John, Llandyrnog, Denbigh, Tailor .
John Roberts of the parish of Llandyrnog . Will signed 10 January 1807
Administration granted to Jane Davies . 30 June 1808.
Probate granted  12 June 1809

Robert Williams of banker and Evan Evans of Pentre`r Felin in Llandyrnog farmers the sum of £40 in  trust for my grandson John Doulben son of Hugh Doulben labourer of Llandyrnog by his wife Mary my daughter.

I have found a John Doulben born c 1805 in census

Give to my son Thomas Roberts joiner supposed to have gone abroad £5.
To my sister Mary the wife of John ------ of Gwrych Berw , Nannerch
Residue .. I give to my NIECE JANE DAVIES WIFE OF DAVID DAVIES of Llandyrnog

I believe this to be the same David.
In 1841 census  Pont Horn  Llandyrnog  Denbighshire
David Davies 65 ag lab Y bc 1776
I don`t know when he died

Can anyone help work out who Jane`s parents were, I have tried  but can`t work her out. She could have been from a brother or sister of John Roberts, but I`m stuck with a marriage to David Davies.
I am pretty sure David and Jane are my ancestors.
