From references on the web I think James Gerald Farrant[edit spelling] served in the Royal Navy and died in Hampshire in the 1990's(born 1901).
I'm looking for a year of death for his wife Elizabeth Prophet McMillan Fairweather(b. 1904 Edinburgh)
I have their marriage as 1926 Edinburgh.

All references to him that I have found have him as FARRANT- not Ferrant?

Can you confirm the spelling of her name please.
