Marriage Lookup - Jonathan IBBOTSON

Hi all   

I'm trying to find the marriage for Jonathan IBBOTSON and Mary.  Here's what I know so far;

Jonathan's parents - Henry Ibbotson and Rachel
Jonathan born -        1831 in Wadsley, Ecclesfield, Yorkshire, England.
Mary born -              c1825 in Woodseats, Sheffield, England.
Children -                 John Thomas b. c1850
                               Harry b. c1853
                               Fanny b. c1858
                               Christiana b. c1861
                               Mary b. c1864
                               Jonathan b. c1866
Jonathan Died -        1896 in Wortley, Yorkshire, England

I can't find anything to do with his marriage at all and I have no idea what his wife's, or mother's, surname is.  Can someone help me, please?

If you look for the childrens birth registrations on www.gro.gov.uk you will be able to find their mother's maiden name . You need to register on the site but it is free.
That might help with finding the right marriage.

Not sure about the birth year you give for John Thomas?

The couple are on 1851 census with no children

In 1861 have:
Harry 8
John Thomas 6
Fanny 3
Christiana 13  (which in the light of the birth record found by Rosie must actually mean 13 weeks or something like that!)

Hi again, I have only shown the 1841 due to the residence being WOODSETTS rather than the Woodseats you have transcribed for Mary, Woodsetts is in the Rotherham registration district, so a possible baptism for the Mary in 1841 Census :-

Mary MALLENDER 15th October 1826 Anston, St James Father William occ Labourer Mother Frances
