my paternal gt gt grandfather was Michael O'Donnell c 1794-1864 Carrowmacloughlin and my maternal gt gt grandfather was Patrick O'Donnell 1804-1880 Glenhest. I have been looking at the history of the O'Donnells and how they came to be in Mayo, and the names Michael and Patrick seem  not be used in the past, is there anyway of getting further back with Mayo records ?
