Andrew senior's 1915 death notice in the Hamilton Advertiser notes his wife as 'June Thomson'.

Andrew junior's death notice refers to him as 'youngest son'.

does anyone know why the CWGC is looking for relatives of these soldiers?
Paterson, Torrance, Gilchrist - Hamilton Lanarkshire. 
McCallum - Oban, McKechnie - Ross of Mull Argyll.
Scrim - Perthshire. 
Liddell - Polmont,
Binnie - Muiravonside Stirlingshire.
Curran, McCafferty, Stevenson, McCue - Co Donegal
Gibbons, Weldon - Co Mayo.
Devlin - Co Tyrone.
Leonard - County Donegal & Glasgow.

The Commission's principles:

Each of the dead should be commemorated by name on the headstone or memorial
Headstones and memorials should be permanent
Headstones should be uniform
There should be no distinction made on account of military or civil rank, race or creed

sometimes the names appear on a memorial but not at the correct cemetery.

Volunteers are working with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to search for men and women who were missed off official lists. Some died of their injuries after being discharged from the forces, while the deaths of some others were wrongly classified.
