hi guys
Me and mum when the to the shuttle wood foundation grange today Copt oak Leicestershire they have a charity shop and book shop ,there was a husband and wife there they told us about proctors caravan site in Barrow upon soar in the 1940s there was a zoo there we used to go there as kids in our caravan I remeber a fair ground near the river please does any one know of the zoo I have tried to find any thing about it with out findinding any thing they said there used to be a train as well that took you to some wood .

Hi guys
Getting back to proctors at barrow the couple I spoke to were certain about a zoo there she say about the train .but did say animals ,birds and things .so may be there was some thing there a long time ago .
