Emma Munden burial 1871
« on: Saturday 14 January 17 17:54 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I have a burial for Emma Munden in Dublin South in 1871. However, I can't find an exact location as to where she was buried. I know her brother, who was born in 1870, was baptised at St Paul's on Arran Quay but haven't found any burials taking place at that church. I suspect the family were Catholic and her father was in the British Army so maybe this would help narrow down where the burial occurred?

My knowledge of Dublin is awful so any help would be great!!

Hi Maggsie,

Yes, the father was William. He was part of the 30th Regiment. The brother born in 1870 was Henry (also known as Harry). He was baptised at St Paul's, Arran Quay.

Hi,
Just read your other post.
I think you have everything now.
Were the other William Munden and Mary Ann Mooney related to your William?
They had a son William on the 2nd May the same year, they lived in Palmerston, Dublin South.

I don't think they're related, but I guess it's possible they could be somewhere along the line.
I know the Munden surname I've been researching comes from Dorset but haven't come across a link to the other William you mentioned.
