My husbands 3x great grandfather was Thomas Dring, He married Rebecca Baxter 7 Jan 1798 in Saxilby Lincs. The couple moved to Brant Broughton and are there on the 1841 census.
I do not know the parentage of Thomas, the 1841 census has him as 75 years old, his burial in 1844 has him as 71 years, so a birth between 1766 and 1773. His marriage says he is from the Parish of Brotherstoft. This is as much as I know of him as I have not found a baptism.
I had checked out the Orston Drings at some stage.
