The actual document read:
ma. Morris Swinorton & Margaret price both servants with Ed. Jones att (sic) Moasbury (sic) Hall marr. the 28.
(That was all in one line)

Underneath in a second line was:
Late of fford (sic) in West Felton parish.

I have searched my Shropshire Directory and it lists;

The Fords, Fords Bank and Fords Farm all of Queen's Head, West Felton.

For Queen's Head, West Felton it gives 1 mile N. of West Felton
(3 3/4 miles SE of Oswestry).

I'm puzzled - are you sure that the Morris b. 1727 and married 1748 was the grandson of the Morris b. 1721.

Also, what are your sources for this info, please?

The records don't seem to match your info.

Selattyn is spelt Selattyn not Sellatyn - my Joneses came from there  ;D

No Morris Swinnerton born 1727 had a son Morris born 1769 Selattyn died 1769.
Another Morris  grandson born Wrexham 1807 died 1815.
There was one more Morris a grandson he was born 1821 Wrexham and died 1822.

But my interest is with the first Morris born 1727.
I will amend he Selattyn spelling.
Thanks,
bswinno

I'm not clear why you have him born Wrexham - what evidence do you have?   I've searched through the whole of the Wrexham Baptisms for 1727 and no Swinnertons are listed and only 2 Morris - both Jones.

So I've been trawling through FS for Swinnertons born around the time you have for Morris and find 3 Swinnerton couples having children baptised in Oswestry ~

Edward and Blanche - Sarah 1725, Samuel 1728
Thomas and Jane  - Mary 1728
Evan and Catherine  - Elizabeth 1727

The first 2 might be possible parents for Morris. Also, I note that grandson Morris b. 1821 had father named Thomas.

Have you considered these ?

Yes Gadget I have looked at Thomas and Jane as likely parents but
cannot prove it.
That's unusual as all their other children have baptisms documented.
