This week, just out of interest, I obtained the marriage cert of George Ghent, a Gardener aged 29 of Averham who married Sarah Adcock of Thurlby, aged 28 in Bourne, Lincs on Oct 25th 1870. His Father was Joseph Ghent, also a Gardener,  and hers Ireland Adcock, a Labourer.

Not fitted them into my tree yet. Maybe of interest to you?

Cheers, Ade.

MarriageFinder™ GEORGE GHENT married one of these people
SARAH ADCOCK, ALICE ADCOCK

District
BOURNE

I had him paired with Alice ADCOCK.

1871 UK Census  at Northgate Newark NOTTS>
George GHENT 28 years gardener birth Averham
Alice 28 years wife birth Thealby Bourn

1881 UKCensus at Rawden Warfedale
George 38 Gardener Averham
Alice 38 wife
Annie 9  daughter born Selby Yorkshire
James Butler 23 boarder

Why does the marriage cert have Sarah Adcock?  Interesting??!!
