Deptford St. nicholas between 1842 - 1845 Tyler surname
« on: Friday 20 January 17 00:59 GMT (UK) »
If anyone has access to microfilm for Deptford St. Nicholas (there seems to be a microfilm gap just where I need to research):

Peter (or, possibly "J. Peter - James, Joseph, other?) Tyler born about 1844-45, the sibs before an after him were bapt. at St. Nicholas.  Father's name would be William (occupation should be listed as mariner) and mother Eliza.   Looking for his full name and bapt. and/or birth dates.  Help is always greatly appreciated.

What was Eliza's maiden name?

Father is William Tyler, spouse is Eliza Ann Fender.  They had 10 children, the last four: Samuel Richard b. Jan 1840; John (b. Apr 1842 bapt 10 May 1842 St. Nicholas); Peter (shows up in subsequent census records but no birth/bapt info); Eliza Sarah b. Jun 1849 bapt 14 Oct 1849 at St. Paul).

That's why I wondered who Alexander with mmn FENDON was. FENDON looks like a possible mistranscription of FENDER to me.  :)

Looked through 1843 -1846 and saw no Tylers at all.

Wish I'd looked a bit closer at some of the later replies here a bit more closely and checked 1842 as well.

Might get the chance next week.
