I've got the Corwen booklets but I think the series finishes in 1812. I'll see if I can find possble Janes b.c. 1781.

Two possibles

July 13 1782, Jane Roberts d of John and Mary, Pen y Coed
Dec 13 1779, Jane Hughes d. of John and Margaret, Dolyglessyn

No occupations given in the booklets - maybe online Merionethshire bapts might give more info.

The 1882 one would be the correct age for the 1851 census but given ages can vary!

Thanks Gadget.   I've perused the Pen y Coed couple & think it's probably the correct pair as there were Johns & Marys later but never a Margaret.

I think that's the best we can do.
