The Edwin / Eliza parents and Isaac being Edwin's father is the chain I had set up BEFORE getting Ernest Edwin's birth certificate back and seeing Charlotte....

And no father listed!!

I have Ernest and Jane census' (fox and George and 5 market street) and sure these are all correct because of family pics etc.

However - I'm lost to why this Charlotte has appeared!!!

I have an update...

Got the Marriage certificate of Ernest Edwin robertson and Jane Pointon back.

St. John, ladywell, Warwickshire

21st Jan 1886

Ernest Edwin of full age, bachelor, provision dealer, of this parish, father is Edwin robertson, provision dealers.

Jane Pointon, of full age, spinster, no occupation, of St Chad Stafford, father is John Pointon.

And if you can - could you look at my tree on Ancestry. Basically I think I am on the right line. Thanks to this, the birth certificate with no father and mother as Charltote Robertson.

I found the death listing of Charlotte Robertson d. Of Isaac needham robertson in BNA RECORDS, she died BEFORE 1841 census and Edwin and Eliza robertson are Ernest Edwin's uncle and aunt who may have taken him in?

I had the Pointon family as publicans and in Stafford - so feel that is right.

Can someone check my theory about the robertsonsif you have time please?
