Railway Terrace, Manurewa, 1950

I have a death printout with deceased dying at "Auckland Public Hospital, from railway Terrace, Manurewa." Dated 1950.
Does anyone where this street was, found Railway Terrace, Newmarket, now Sawaria St?

THOMPSON TERRACE, Manurewa, was the only Terrace I could find in the listings of Manurewa street names and their history compiled by David. Corrected link above.

PS Your quest brought to mind my research into Liverpool Street West Auckland. There on the terraces, where the railway line was upgraded from New Lynn to Kelston, there were several accidents and [from memory] one fatality. Therefore is Railway Terrace a reference to address, and not a place of accident ?  Railway Contractor's may have been living on site.

Wasn't an accident involved Alan, just an illness. Always thought the people invoved were living in Remuera, but maybe it was The Railway Terrace in Newmarket, will have to wait till ER's are available again to follow some leads.

Later electoral rolls are available locally, in public libraries, just not on line.

Although I quite often drive through Auckland, I can not remember the last time I visited the CBD library, so unable to offer a look up for you. Could possibly do Henderson's Library, as I hope to stay a few nights out West Auckland, next month. Please PM if I can be of assistance.

Thought Railway Terrace was familiar, I have it on another death crt saying the same thing, "At Auckland Public Hospital, from Railway Terrace, Manurewa."
