Sullivan's of Bantry
« on: Sunday 22 January 17 20:09 GMT (UK) »
Looking to confirm that my great great grandparents John Sullivan and Margaret Mary Sullivan or Harrington?? were married in Bantry ca. 1865. They emigrated to U.S. shortly afterward, I would love to find a record of that as well. According to family history, John was born about 1843 son of Timothy Sullivan and Hannah Twomey. Margaret Mary Sullivan was the daughter of Cornelius Sullivan or Harrington and Mary Florence? Mary Florence b. 1820 also emigrated and died 1900, Rhode Island.

Thank you for your help! How difficult would it be to find their marriage record or Cornelius Sullivan and Mary F. Harrington's marriage record in/near Bantry?

So Margaret Mary's parents were Cornelius Sullivan and Mary Florence Harrington. I just found this:
Name   Margaret Sullivan
Gender   Female
Death Date   06 Aug 1922
Death Place   Rhode Island, United States
Age   78
Birth Date   1844
Marital Status   Married
Spouse's Name   John H. Sullivan
Father's Name   Cornelius Sullivan
Mother's Name   Mary Harrington
