Janette  .... if you read the first post in this thread, you'll see that the married names of the daughters are already known - hence my reason for suggesting one or other of them might well be traced quite easily, via a telephone directory listing.

Thank you both so much Im well impressed with all your help, Yes i have the names of the late Sydney and Emily's daughters but not of there grand children who are possibly still living.
I know the eldest  daughter of  their youngest daughter joined the NZ Police force. I also know she was born in Wellington Shropshire  England 1953
