Mary Anns Baptism may be on FreeREG 1830, Father John a Lace Maker.
Thats fits with Mary Anns Occp 1851 Census.

So this may be them in 1841;

Thank you so much for your continued interest and help.   It is very much appreciated.   Yes, the people you've spotted are the family "my" Mary Ann BRAMMAN belongs to.   I'm pretty sure now that she's the same person all through.   

I may have found her and her son Albert living with Charles GREAVES in 1871, all with the surname GREAVES.   This is before the marriage and her place of birth is Leicestershire, so the names could just be a coincidence.   Also daughter Martha isn't there and I can't find a birth registration for her at all...   

Nothing is ever easy but then that's probably what keeps us all hooked!
