Compiled from registers held in the National Records of Scotland (CH3/1283/15 and /35) the Scottish Genealogy Society has recently published:
Middle Free Church, Perth – Baptisms 1845-1871 and Marriages 1845-1858. With over 70 pages, the Baptism Register starts in June 1845 and gives the name of the child, place and date of birth, parents’ names and occupations. The Marriage Register mostly gives the names of the couple, date and place of marriage, along with the names of witnesses. Remember most marriages at this time were conducted at the home of the bride or groom, sometimes the Manse, and rarely at the church itself.
