Whithorn: William Saunders/Sanders
« on: Thursday 02 February 17 05:37 GMT (UK) »
Hi there,
I'm looking for a burial record for William Saunders/Sanders.
The death is recorded as 27 FEB 1903 Broadwigg Farm Cottage, Whithorn, Wigtownshire, Scotland. I'm assuming (?) he may have been buried at a local kirkyard. He was originally from Old Luce, Wigtownshire, Scotland.
Many thanks!
Neil Saunders

Hello,
Re your search for William Saunders.......a search in Ancestry for "All results for William Saunders" finds a number of records and details for the Saunders family. Scotlands people may hold the burial record.
The librarian at Whithorn has a personal interest in family history and is also the registrar for Whithorn and district, with access to Scotlands people (for a fee). 01988 500406. The library is not open every day...details on D&G gov website.
Hope this helps
