According to the mighty wiki, Barley baptisms covering the period should be on FindMyPast (index and images to 1902) and Anxioustree (index to 1858).

Hope this helps

Can't find any sign of of a baptism in Barley, the only records on this boy on FindMyPast are the birth and death registration references. Maybe he wasn't baptised, or was non-conformist or baptised in his mother's parish, which seems to be either Ickleton or Chishill depending on which census you look at.

There is a marriage between a Mary Griggs and Thomas Abraham in Royston district in Q3 1842 and a death for a Thomas Abraham in Royston district 1848. The GRO index gives age at death as 63, which seems a bit old, but could be second marriage, or there is an error on the index.

If Mary Grigg's late husband was the elderly Thomas and it was his second marriage, the re is possible first at St Margaret of Antioch, Barley. Thomas Abraham of Chrishall Essex bac  to Ethelreda Bonham single on 10 July 1810. There is always confusion between the Chishalls (Great and Little) and Chrishall, the villages being close to each other and going walkabout over the county boundary into Cambs in 1895.

Thank you for your impute.
I can't find a baptism for this lad, only his birth, death and on census, I have found Griggs and Abraham families living just a few houses away on 1841 Only in Bucks which is where my Abraham and Griggs family originate from, there must be a connection with these  Abraham I am sure, 1841 both with other partners I assume, must admit though ages are a bit out but that is 1841 for you, yes, they do seem a bit old for parents.

My mother had always thought that the Abraham were Jewish but it doesn't appear to be so as my Gt Gt grandmother was married in a church of England church, not unknown to " marry out " though, no other signs of the Jewish faith anywhere.

Just in case of interest, I think this is baptism of Thomas Abraham in Chrishall register. Bapt 12 dec 1784 s/ o Francis and Martha.
