Straw Hat Manufacturer called Newlove in Hull

For those who like a challenge.

In the BMDs of the Hull Advertiser in October 1825 the bride, Miss Newlove was stated to be "the only daughter of the late Mr Thomas Newlove, of this place, straw hat manufacturer".

I cannot find a burial for Thomas Newlove - not sure how late he was but I don't have any Thomas Newlove in my database that could remotely be the right person. Nor can I find a baptism for his daughter who was named Mary.

I have looked at all the trade directories for Hull I can find online but have not found any mention of Thomas a straw hat maker.

Any information gratefully received. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Thomas in Hutton Cranswick looks promising but he died at Hutton C. in 1829 so he wasn't "late" in 1825. He was a joiner and wagon maker.

The Thomas I am looking for would have died before October 25 1825 and the marriage notice calls him "Mr". To me that sounds like he was a person of substance and well known in the City of Hull.  Possibly an employer as he is described as a manufacturer rather than a maker. Maybe I'm reading too much into that. 

I'm trying to find his burial which will (hopefully) state how old he was when he died. Its possible he may not have been born in Yorkshire.

Good idea Treetotal but unfortunately the earliest one on the Genuki Hull page is 1829.

I checked the Historical Directories site also and found an 1823 Directory. I did find a lot of straw hat manufacturers but none were called Newlove. The man is a mystery!

Hi...I have looked at Baine's Directory Vol. 2 for 1823 and he's not listed...also Battle's Directory 5th edition 1814-1815 and couldn't see him in there either
