Quaker Family History Society Event - Exeter Devon 6th May
« on: Saturday 04 February 17 01:01 GMT (UK) »
The Quaker family History Society are holding a One Day Meeting on Saturday the 6th May 2017 at Exeter Friends Meeting House, Wynards Lane, Exeter. EX2 4HU. Details will be on our website (www.qfhs.co.uk) shortly. We already have some excellent speakers coming.   Dr Todd Gray is coming to set the historical context to the 18th century activity of Quakers in Exeter. John Bell will tell us the history of Spicelands Meeting.

We are looking for family historians to come along and  say a few words about their Devon Quaker families. Could you or someone you know help us?

Here are a few family names of Exeter Quakers
Cadbury, Dymond, Fox, Fry, Horniman, Sparkes and Wilkey.
You may know more.

One of our members Dr Paul Collins, will also tell us how he got on with the Quaker history 6 week on-line course completed last autumn.

The event is open to all but let us know if you are interested in coming. Thanks
