Finding Jim and Tom Green - 1927 onwards
« on: Sunday 05 February 17 10:12 GMT (UK) »
Hello All

I'm trying to trace my grandfather's brothers, James Crawford Green (b. 1910 - registered Lochgelly, Fife) and Thomas Crawford Green (b.1911 - registered Kinglassie, Fife). They left on the 'Baradine' , bound for Sydney, in 1927. They never came back and I think letters between them stopped after a few short years. I would love to know what happened to them once they arrived in Oz

Could someone please suggest how I might start going about this - first steps, and all that?  :)

Many thanks

Alex

Wow! Thank you so much, cupoflife and sparrett - that is amazing!

I had no idea where to start and you have thrown up so much information - I knew so little

The newspaper articles make for interesting reading  :)

Best wishes

Alex
