Richard Baynes born Dublin c.1855
« on: Sunday 05 February 17 13:59 GMT (UK) »
Richard Baynes was born in Dublin c.1855.    His marriage certificate of 1879, in Southampton,  records him as the "son of Laurence".   When he moved to England is unknown

The surname recorded is Baynes, however, later census records the name Baines.   Possibly, the father, Laurence, could be Lawrence?

I would be grateful for any birth or census records of Richard and Laurence, his father

www.irishgenealogy.ie has Church Baptism/Marriage records for Dublin both RC & COI. You will not locate a Civil Record as these only began in Ireland in 1864

Hi Gerry,

Perhaps one to consider - Richard Behan baptised August 1855, Lucan with parents Laurence Behan and Rose Murphy. It's the best I can find up to now.  :-\
